Seems like a good deal it does seem to be a rather dim lit monitor and bland contrast so take that into consideration. Linus did a review on it. I might pass.

edit: so it seems settings have to be calibrated quite a bit to get a good picture, Linus didn't do this so it's hard to say. Good overall reviews other than occasional dead pixels.

Aside from it being a VA panel and only being 250 cd/m, I can't see why this monitor is so cheap even at regular price. I just got the LG GL83A for $320 on BF and debating whether I should return it for this.

I have to think the LG will be a much nicer panel, even if $100 more. IPS vs VA, higher brightness, etc.
