I bought the Lepow yesterday too. The main difference for me (besides the Lepow only being 1.8 lbs) is that the Lepow has a mini-HDMI port (and a cable for using it with HDMI), whereas the Acer is USB-C only. I think I'm going to stick with the Lepow.

Where did you guys get the Lepow from. Can these be powered by a powerbank?

Amazon. Re power bank , at least for Lepow " I also used my power bank as a power supply, so you can take this wherever you want to take it! No need for an outlet when you have a power bank"

Given the low price in this Acer, I'd give that a try, for 20 bucks more can get the Lepow.

so to connect with your usb-c phone, you need a separate power source?

I tried it with the Lepow just now, I didn't need a separate power source when I hooked it up to my Huawei phone.

When I hooked it up to my Pixel it just vibrated, didn't know how to fire up screen mirror or whatever.

Huawei desktop mode worked nicely, but I'm not sold on the build quality and stand of the Lepow. I may give this Acer a try or just punt.

How good would this be as a field monitor for reviewing shots?

Thanks OP got one. Been looking for a second monitor to go with my laptop when in the field and this fits the bill.

Also, I got the Lepow one when it was on sale and returned it. The backlight bleed was horrendous & the colors & screen uniformity were terrible. I have much more faith in Acer products.

Most likely 60hz @ 1080p. I'm doing some research myself & will post back here when I find it or when I receive the monitor in 2 days.
