This one is for the non G-max battery. If you are looking for the mower that uses GMAX, I think it would be this one which is also a great deal according to 3x camels:

The only problem is that it is 1-2 months delivery. I really need it now, so not sure if I will bite the bullet.

I am pretty sure gmax is their second generation battery and is supposed to be better. The previous battery was discontinued and not used for their newer tool line. It is annoying they do not make it very clear (need to rely on pictures or comments) because the two batteries and tool lines are not compatible with each other.

I use 40V gmax for my chainsaw and pole saw from green works, both are very powerful and long life (though I don't do that many cuts at a time).

I ended up going with the 21" self propelled tool only since shipping was faster and I have a couple of existing batteries.
