Product Name: | 26 qt. High-Performance Cooler with Lockable Lid |
Product Description: | The Everbilt 26 qt. Cooler is designed for river trips, camping, and other outdoor activities. The durable roto-molded construction doesn't dent or crack easily and the High-Density Polyurethane Foam insulation keeps ice cold for 4-days to 7-days. The no-sweat design eliminates condensation on the outside of the cooler and the Rubber Pad non-slip feet keep the cooler secure in your vehicle or boat. An interlocking no-fall lid stays up when you're unloading the cooler and the carry handle folds away for easy packing in your truck or raft. A drain release is located at the base of the cooler so you can keep melted water out of the cooler and your food. |

From what I have read, the trick with these coolers -- if you want the ice to last a long time -- is to pre-chill them the night before (using some milk jugs of frozen water) prior to loading them up for deployment.

People should also not complain about the amount of material in this cooler - it is clearly a thicker rotomolded cooler. It is similar to all the other "high performance coolers" out there. Get a regular cooler if you are worried about weight or size vs capacity.
Latch strap design is the only valid complaint in this thread.
This cooler deal cannot be beat for the market it was designed for.
Not dead. My area it was sold out everywhere and showed as $79, I switched the store to my old zip code, 2 states away and price dropped to $39 and was able to get one shipped to me for $54 after taxes and shipping.
Not bad deal for $35.89 plus tax. The store still has two on display near the main entrance.

Earlier in this thread someone said flipping over the latches (that come with it) make it easier to operate.
Plenty locally at this price so I didn't try.
Got one today op. Thank you .
Latches are extremely challenging . I tried 3 or so at the store. Please reconsider if plan is to gift to retired, older person. Obviously there will be some exceptions but in addition to the latches, this is heavy WITHOUT ICE!
How are others moving this when full?
