I have this vacuum and it works exceptionally well. The only thing to consider is possibly going with Zero-M instead. Personally, I have four dogs and they're always getting stuffing from their toys and of course their hair. If it's under a piece of furniture and I don't see it, a lot of times I end up having to scrape it off the brushes. If you're just using it for regular maintenance for carpet or hard floors, then it would work well.

I recently paid $179 for a powered duoclean lift away from Home Depot and am very impressed. Very modular vacuum with lots of power and versatility.

I was (and still am) happy with the price I paid. This deal seems even better.

Excellent deal for the nv835 model!!

Have this Shark Duo Clean and love it. For comparison, Home depot has the 810 Uv model below which until I saw this seemed was best comparable deal....

$179- 810UV - speed model for maneuverability

Depends if you also need duo clean and lift away. There are a couple zero-m models at a similar price but not with all the same features.

This deal sounds really great and I'm so tempted but has anyone ordered from them before?

Their return policy kinda worries me. It states:
If you are not 100% delighted with your purchase, VMInnovations will gladly accept your return within 60 days if your warranty permits.
A return shipping charge will be deducted from your refund on returns of items that are not the result of a VMInnovations.com error.

VMInnovations does not provide a pre-paid return label for returns over 60 days. We are unable to offer refunds on purchases over 60 days old.

Shark's 7- Limited Warranty states:
Non-durable parts including brushes, filters, and electrical parts which normally require replacement are excluded from this warranty.

It goes on to state that if the damage isn't from normal wear and tear they will accept a return for replacement or repair but you will have to pay return freight shipping of $19.99.

So RMA return to the seller at your cost if within 60 days plus pay to have the replacement/repaired vacuum shipped back to you from shark for another $20. Total return could cost anywhere from $40-$70 depending on how much the site charges for their pre-paid label. Some great and terrible reviews for this seller. What to do...what to do...

Never heard of this company and all I'm seeing is bad reviews... if you want this vac from a reputable company buy it from here

https://www.boscovs.com/shop/prod/shark-duo-clean-fit-upright-vacuum/644280.htm?utm_source=Google&ut... [boscovs.com]

It's $40 more but they aren't some no name startupish type company

If it's just for maintaining carpets a couple times a week and just pulling dirt and dust out of the carpet, then probably not. But if you're someone like me who has a bunch of dogs running around, it's a completely different. I like my Shark vacuums, but I can't count the times I've run over threads from toys or stuffing that I didn't see before it was too late, then I end up picking it out of the brushes. Additionally, it blocks up the vacuums, so I end up having to clean out the hose and tubes. It doesn't necessarily take long, but the Zero-M would clear it out if I had it.

Here are some pictures of what it's like with the Shark vacuums and having messy dogs. One picture is today of stuffing the dogs have on my floor. Of course I cleaned up stuffing yesterday, but they found a new toy to victimize. Other photo is of this vacuum listed and my cordless ionflex duoclean. The problem I have is when they get stuffing under things like furniture and I can't see it when I'm vacuuming, then the brushes get covered with it. If you're just dealing with small dirt particles, then disregard, because these do great with simple maintenance.

How does this compare to the Dyson Ball Animal Pet 2 as far as cleaning and features are concerned? Thanks.
