Not threadcrapping, but contributing. Watch the review below before buying. This gives no radiant heat from the sides. I actually like some smoke to keep bugs and mosquitoes away. Plus, I prefer to be able to see and control the fire, added pleasure and it's fun!

I have the bonfire. Everyone seems to love it. The girlfriend actually complains now that there isn't enough smoke so you don't end up smelling like a campfire. This is close to $100 less than I paid.

I'm with you on this but wife wants "smokeless", may have to splurge.... We already have a permanent brick one in the yard, portable one for the front yard but like you said...money to burn 🤷 ♀️

This may give you more effective use of space as brick fire pits can get pretty big. Depends heavily on how much room you have.

You get what you pay for with cheap fire pits. Cheap steel rusts, stainless lasts longer. The Solo burns more efficiently and completely, less wood and less ash. The smoke is substantially reduced. No moving around to avoid the smoke. Finally the double wall construction keeps it cooler on the outside. The top gets hot but the bottom is barely warm. You can put it right on top of a wood deck and the wood doesn't get hot.

It costs more but you get more features. Is it worth it? That depends on your finances.

If I bought this linked one I could use the extra $130 to start the fire! If a person has a lot of fires, or lives on a small lot where smoke can be a problem for neighbors, these Solo stoves are great. I have just a plain heavy steel ring on the ground which works but these are much more elegant and the smoke reduction once they're going is really fantastic.

I went with the Yukon, not a huge backyard, but figure bigger is better!?! And agree with the buy now think later...can always return it.
