This is a nifty device for a low-cost home theater setup. Can it hook up to other speakers, maybe a subwoofer or a soundbar?

Unless you actually need something that's portable, I'd say you'd be better off purchasing a used HT projector, even if you have to replace the bulb.

Yeah, 100 lumens is not going to be a very bright picture. Keep in mind a 60W equivalent lightbulb is about 800 lumens. Granted, that's in all directions and not just forward, but projectors that cast 100" screens were traditionally much brighter, and even then you needed the lights off.

My AV guy would go into a spirited discussion about foot Lamberts and ambient light. At 100 inches this would be 3.31. 12-22 good for a dark room. If you shrink it to 32" you get 26.18 is barely good for low light and that's assuming you are getting good screen gain (projector backdrop).

Forget 100lumens, it is just 480p.

We really need the Nebula Capsule Max for this price.

That is 200lumens, 720p and not much larger, but 2x the price.

If you are just looking for a sleek projector not battery/portable then this is a much cheaper option at $145 after coupon:

Any recommendations on HT projector? I see some small ones with 4000+ lumens for around $100.
