Robot vacuum cleaner price dropped to $118.99. Ordered one to try and replacing my very old Roomba as the battery keeps dying prematurely.

Great price for the features.

I've had this exact model for almost a year and it's terrific. Picks up dog fur and human hair easily without tangles on the brush because it's brushless. Just uses a suction opening to do the job. Won't work on carpet, but can go on rugs and does the job flawlessly on hardwood.

Bought it for $140 at the time, no regrets.

Highly recommend!

Only 600pa? I'm interested in a replacement, but that is way too low.

There's a another deal on the 15c max that is 2000pa vs this 600. Granted it's $200 after coupon but there is also one that is $150 that is about 1300 pa? But those use roller brushes. I have hardwood, not sure if it's worth $200 but for extra suction power seems like it would be? They both don't have programmable functions, so I can't tell what the difference is between the different robot vacuums otherwise. Advice?

Is mapping really needed?

I don't think mapping is really needed if you want a vacuum to go around and pick up as much crap as possible.
However the no go areas would be useful so that you can instruct the robot to not try to vacuum areas where it might get itself stuck. But if you have a relatively open space you don't need that feature. It's a nice to have.

I have this bot vac and it has been VERY good. It works on the carpet in my bedroom. The hardwood it does a fabulous job on. And I have a Roomba and a Tesvor and the iLife is the most dependable at charging, picking up stuff, and not getting stuck.

I've owned both this model and the V5s Pro. Both are excellent choices. I got my V5S Pro on sale on eBay over a year ago for about $130. If you have low profile carpets and flat surfaces to clean, these are an absolute great deal. Don't waste money on the "big names" out there. You could get a small fleet of these for what one of those vacs cost. There are some deals still going on out there for robot vacs with smart home/app capabilities that I would argue could be worth the extra cost but if you are looking to get your first robot vac, or if you even want to replace your expensive Roomba that had died without spending hundreds of dollars again, this is an excellent choice.
There are LOTS of options on Amazon to get multi packs of replacement brushes and filters for these vacs for CHEAP. You will want those eventually because, with regular use, the brushes can wear quickly but are simple to change out with a phillips head screwdriver.
I highly recommend this brand! Great post!
