I'm not sure if this was targeted or not. It was an offer under my Marriott Chase credit card account. You get $900 cash back when you open a checking and savings account through the link. Sure the interest rates are crap...but once you get your $900 after 3 months, you can close accounts and move elsewhere. Seems like a killer deal...unless I'm missing something?

Refer a Friend [chase.com]
With a limit $500/year, after referring 10-20 people, it would not increase the yearly reward.
Personally, I am looking for a referral for my daughter's first checking account.
They are obviously two different offers. and here is what we are getting:
Out of curiosity, I put in my last name, zip code, and last four digit of my card on the page you linked, and this is what comes up with :
" We're sorry, we're having trouble verifying your information. This offer might not be available to you at this time. Try again in a few weeks. "
You are welcome to try it yourself if you have a chase account. Funny how people are making up assumptions without confirming by themselves first. Oh well. LOL
Btw, the codes that we sent out via emails, they were not even supposed to be called referrals, they were codes for ourselves, and we were not supposed to share it with others. It's just each time we hit send button, it generates a unique code. You'd know this by now if you read OP's old posts.

I freaking wish I was getting $50 for each referral...I would be making BANK! I can't even get reps from most people which is sad!

Too bad, this offer is not part of the referral program. To be honest, it is not too difficult to do some research before you assume. This offer has also been discussed a lot on various accredited websites, you could easily do some homework elsewhere.
Simply wanted to help some people, I don't even care about rep or anything, but seriously, replies like this just threw me right off.
You've a saints patience 🙂 pm'd
I did a ACH of $200 on 12/11 and received bonus $300 on 12/17
