All three colors are currently $199 with free shipping or pick up.

In-store is still $249, so I would suggest ordering online.

Amazon is still around $250.

There's another green one [walmart.com] for $199 too. Looks slightly different.

The thing I like about these Dune Racer Power Wheels is that they have more leg room compared to other Power Wheels, allowing more years of play. Some of the Power Wheels they'll probably outgrow quicker.

This is the best one for older/taller kids as it doesn't have a dash for their knees to go into.

I guess the question is which one is the better one?

my kids have the Power Wheels Dune Racer Extreme, got one used for $50 and it's still going strong

the main difference i can see is that the extreme seems to have flatter tires (vs the other one being more rounded tires)

most of the time this is being driven on sidewalks and on the street.. so that makes the extreme better IMO.

Got a power wheels one last year. Kids love it, also easily lasts an extra few years with them by doing the 24v battery conversion, which is easily googled.

Picked one up. The regular Dune Racer looks better to me than the "Extreme."

I bought a used dune racer in great shape on Craigslist a month ago for $50. After my 4 year old Isco fortable I plan up bump to 18 volt with the Milwaukee drill batteries I ordered yesterday. Maybe in a coupl3 years we will go on to 24 or 36 volts with an esc and motor upgrades

Definitely recommend this if you're in the market for one. I'm 5'10 210lbs and able to ride this with my little 2 years old boy (defintely a bit cramp) but still good.
Power is sufficient for good 30 minutes, with my weight and all. My kids at speed 2 really like the speed, sometime scary since it can goes so fast.

I had my reservations on this because of the weight limits. States on the site...

The Power Wheels batteries work well, but if you want a spare, get a sealed battery and adapter off Amazon (~$40). I can use my smart car battery charger to charge my spare too, meaning I can charge the PW battery & spare at the same time. More useful than you would initially think!
