Built-in L.E.D. light with an independent on/off switch illuminates the work area
It's been Good for automotive work. I paid $150 for the tool only.
If you need more torque the available larger impact is a bear and huge to use. This one is compact and works great for lug nuts and tighter spaces.
Yep. When I saw the title I assumed a Makita would be a boss tool similar to Milwaukee bigman torque. Then I saw the stats and realized that my Ridgid brushless probably kicks its Makita butt
You do realize that Makita makes a high torque impact wrench as well?
I have a larger makita impact, it is awesome and has been beat on for about four years without issue. This is about half power, not sure if it would handle truck lugnuts. Probably OK for working on Japanese cars. Or for tight areas.
That's fine, it is indeed small and compact so I see the potential benefit in that. It is similar in size to my impact driver.
No its not. Ridgid doesnt even make an impact driver thats even close to this small let alone a 1/2" impact wrench. 5 3/4" is very small my dude. This tool is similar in length to the Ridgid 12v compact impact driver.
This is a great deal, IMO, mainly because these wrenches never go on sale. The wrench included is the XWT11z perfect for light automotive work.
Here's a quick summary of their 1/2" impact wrenches (current as of probably a year ago):
XWT02z 210ftlb - discontinued, replaced with 11z
XWT04Z 325ftlb
XWT05z 175ftlb
XWT08z 740/1180ftlb
XWT11z 210ftlb 3-speed

I know. We were comparing size to impact DRIVERS and he said that Ridgid doesn't even make an impact driver this small let alone an impact wrench. I have this impact driver and it certainly seems small to me.

That's because it is. Its on par with the 1/2 inch Ryobi from HD at about 300ft lbs. That's very low imo.

Really? This one seems pretty small. https://www.ridgid.com/us/en/cord...act-driver
