I think the 25% off using trade in is a better deal since the echo dot is often part of a lot deals and you dont actually need to send the trade in loosing only the gift card discount not the 25%

Same boat. I am assuming since these are backordered until Xmas they are trying to squeeze in any last orders they can. I ordered 4 for family and I'm tempted to cancel all 4 and order these for the free echo dots but they won't make it in time more than likely.
