With a quick search I'm not readily seeing the "98" part number elsewhere - it is "83" for what I am seeing. But for those I'm seeing about $26 for two and $45 for four. I'm also seeing 4.5", 6", and 12" models without clarity on which are which.
The normal price for a single DeWalt 12in 100lbs trigger clamp is $18, and $6 for the 4.5in 35lbs. This is definitely a pretty slick deal. If purchased individually, this set would retail around $48.
my buddy has these and I think they suck. Other clamps I use, Irwin and craftsman, every time I squeeze the release the clamp opens up. helpful when you're holding something and the clamp needs to be opened up more than it is. Don't know if these are updated but the dewalt clamps I've used only release tension. You can not open them with one hand.

They are comparable in terms of quality, ease of use, and function.

Consists of two 4.5 inch clamps and two 12 inch clamps. Clamping force matches up with the OP's item, so I think that this is the same item.
