Those reviews though...Stuff looks like Swiss cheese after a few months. Sure it's Costco, but do I really want to be the guy who returns used socks to Costco?

I'd say a 4.5 rating with 810 reviews is solid. Amazon review rating 4.6 with 325 reviews link below

I use these socks pretty frequently.. about 2-4x a week. I'd say in about 6 months they're close to Swiss cheese about the heel & toes. At about the 6-8 month mark, they tore through heel or toe. As much as I do like these socks, they don't last even a year like my regular socks from Target do. Makes me bummed.

How many reviews were written, say, 6 months into ownership? Or if the quality took a hit, after that?

They are really nice the first time you use them. After that it's downhill as they pile a lot and do not hold up well over time.

What exactly does 'Weatherproof' mean?

I don't have these exact socks, but I do have different weatherproof socks from Costco that have held up extremely well over the past year, much better than their usual casual socks.

I bought these socks last year. They got holes in them really quickly. I like some of their other clothing, but these socks are terrible. The Kirkland merino wool socks for regular price is a much better deal.

Yeah, really comfy, but they don't last. I'd return them, but it happens one sock at a time. You get a hole and then throw own pair out, then a few months later, the next. The Traxion socks I have right now from Costco are nice. We'll see if they also rip apart.

I hope no one bought these. My wife bought me these months ago...and nearly every pair has a hole in it ranging from the heel to the toe and everywhere in between. They just don't last.
