You say that but I don't think you know what you are saying. A few years ago? This mouse was released almost 7 years ago and the technology is also around that age. So today's mice are better than a few years ago? This mouse IS a few years ago, once again around 7 yeas go.

With that said, G602 isn't bad by any means but G502 I feel is overall better.

Get the G602. Wireless is very good today than it was a few years ago. Battery life can last for months now. You get less cable clutter and is comfortable in the hand.

Great price. I think I paid $35 to $40 on sale for my older G502s.

602 batteries drained really quickly. Tried 3 different mouses. Eventually switched to 502

I have both, I have had the G602 for years and it's very very similar feeing to the G502. I just wanted the newer hero sensor in the G502 hero. The biggest difference is really just the wireless on the G602, less side buttons on the G502( I really only ever used two anyways) and the better scroll wheel on the G502.
I'm using the G502 for now until I can get my hands on a slickdeal with the new G604, the best of both worlds mouse.

What's the difference between Hero SE and regular G502 Hero? Seems like a great deal if they're the same.

Man, I've been using the Logitech G500 mouse for years. I've been using it for so long that it has practically become an extension of my body. I don't know if I can ever use another mouse. Everything is going to feel so weird. Is the G502 paying homage to the legendary G500?

EDIT: Ohhhh, it has the weights in it just like the G500. This has my interest. Maybe I'll get one as a backup because it took my first G500 about 5 years until the laser failed. This second one has been working beautifully for like 4 years now. laugh out loud

But why would you want to waste that 20% discount on something so inexpensive?

You can make throwaway accounts. I've used their 20% off code many times and so have others.
