EDIT information from Better.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello,
I work with Better, com and wanted to see if you could please add in the following information to your post on Amex/Better,com deal as it reads incorrect as it stands, especially regarding eligibility. We want to make sure the offer is stated as accurately as possible:
1) Mortgage rates of any specific customer, stated or otherwise, should not be taken as indicative of a mortgage rate available to all customers. Pricing is based on a number of factors, including the individual credit profile of a potential borrower.
2) The offer is only available to those borrowers who have been marketed to directly by American Express, and those who have not received the offer on their Amex portal or via email are not eligible.

I just did a pull with Better to see how they compared to First Internet Bank and I don't think they'd be able to match as they aren't even close on my FIB offer. I locked in with FIB at 3.375% with 3.439 APR with $141 OOP and the closest Better is showing is 3.25% with 3.417 APR for $4297 OOP.

I was also hoping for Chase for the same reasons. Here is my timeline:

30 year @ 3.375% funded on 2/26
Servicing transferred to Mr. Cooper on 3/10
No credit thus far
I was similar but I took 3.5% because I wanted no cost (ended up +$500 after all fees and prepaids) I was also cash out so I got a bit higher rate because of that as well.

Have to say this has been an extremely smooth operation. Applied and locked Feb 29, just selected a closing date of 3/21 - which would mean 3 weeks start to finish.

Matched lenderfi, 3.125% 30 year, ~$1800 lender credit, ~$1100 closing costs, and the $2500 due back.

Confirmed there is no "no-refinance within X months" clawback or clause and in fact they encourage welcome business (unlike other companies that require waiting 6 months). Importantly, Amex deal is repeatable!

Waiting a few months for demand/supply and interest rates to settle into a new equilibrium and possibly do it again!

Better has a price match. They offer to beat & give you 1k. You might want to look into it.

Sooooo I'm thinking about refinancing again lol. (Closed on the 2nd of January @ 3.625) - was there a stipulation in AMEX credit that I can only get it once? Has anyone seen the Samsung Pay 125k points from better.com as well? (I think that's only ~$1000)

You can try but dont think its going to get better - depends on the loan amount and LTV...

Mine has not hit yet. (2/24 fund) I feel they are taking longer now that there was a refinance rush. I'm sitting with $2500 balance in my card waiting for credit, my balance is due in 2 weeks, might have to just pay it off. Was hoping to not request a credit balance check.

Will do! Have you been able to set up an account with Mr. Cooper? My loan isn't in the system yet. Coming up on the first payment due date and would prefer to have it go to Mr. Cooper as opposed to TMS

Yes! Wasn't a problem after receiving the letter from TMS with the new loan number
