EDIT information from Better.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello,
I work with Better, com and wanted to see if you could please add in the following information to your post on Amex/Better,com deal as it reads incorrect as it stands, especially regarding eligibility. We want to make sure the offer is stated as accurately as possible:
1) Mortgage rates of any specific customer, stated or otherwise, should not be taken as indicative of a mortgage rate available to all customers. Pricing is based on a number of factors, including the individual credit profile of a potential borrower.
2) The offer is only available to those borrowers who have been marketed to directly by American Express, and those who have not received the offer on their Amex portal or via email are not eligible.

I know this has been asked before, but did not find anyone with success - so asking again. Can anyone confirm that they have received the $2500 Amex credit on a co-branded Amex card, like Hilton or Delta cards? I know blue set of personal cards are issued by Amex and qualify. Hilton and Delta are considered Amex co-branded cards. The T&C say "Amex-branded" cards are not eligible, but not "co-branded".

Will appreciate feedback - I am on the verge of closing 3 loans and $7500 is a lot to mess with.
You have a point. I have Delta Gold, Hilton Aspire, Amex Gold and Amex everyday day. Few weeks back when I first saw this offer, I saw the better.com offer in the OFFERS list on 3 of the cards. I don't remember which 3 of the 4 cards :-( Better.com matched my Owning rate and I will either use Hilton aspire or Delta gold to get my $2500 credit and avoid the Everyday card. Since then I have closed the Amex Gold card. What cards do you have?

Problem is the better.com offer is no longer on any of my 3 open cards now.

I provided my Amex Gold, but received an email from my concierge today saying they are having trouble with the credit and to confirm my card information again.

In the email, the concierge said that you can't use a business or charge card. Amex Gold is a charge card, as far as I know and I was wondering if anyone else used a Gold or Platinum and received the credit?

So you tried to price match multiple offers but in the end they couldn't beat one so you went to another company. Now they are refusing to pay you since they price matched other offers. Do I understand correct?
Right. They are claiming that part 9 of their terms state that the $1000 price match guarantee only applies once per application. Since they beat my very first offer by $1000, they said they were no longer bound by the guarantee so when they refused to beat my final offer I'm not entitled to the $1000.

It was the same for me, LoanDepot was $500 less but I was not told who the attorney or the company was. Better charges $1000 for the same service. I'm in GA as well and I could not find anything cheaper calling around.
I'm in Illinois. I'm using Ravenswood Title. They were almost half better.com quote. It looks like they service Georgia

Thinking about doing this offer...but want to get an idea is it really a good deal after the cashback? -- Is better.com rate and fees competitive? From some other posts I feel that they try to get you on closing fees?

Personal cards I have are Amex blue cash, Delta Blue and Hilton card. Better said all 3 qualify. I don't want to take a chance of using my blue card for all 3 applications, just in case they restrict number of credits on one card.

I had seen the better offer on some card, but don't remember on which. But if you know that you had the offer on 3 of the 4 cards you have, that gives a ray of hope that most likely, all these qualify

I don't see that in the posts about Better.com, but I do see that in the posts people shared about LenderFi as a quote for Better to compete with. But yes, Better's rates and fees are competitive AFTER the compete against another quote. Prior to that, sometimes they are competitive, but rarely.

I confirmed with AMEX in evening that my Hilton Aspire, Delta Gold and AMEX Everyday car all qualify. I will most likely be giving my Hilton aspire or Delta Gold when the time comes.

My current title company (Chicago Title) is a joke; the title company that Better Mortgage recommended honestly isn't any better (Radian Title)...
I'm using Chicago Title. What's the issue with them?
