1) Mortgage rates of any specific customer, stated or otherwise, should not be taken as indicative of a mortgage rate available to all customers. Pricing is based on a number of factors, including the individual credit profile of a potential borrower.

Talked to a title company today on this exact issue. You can use anyone, discount is also regulated. However, they recommended using same title company as they already have an old file (not sure on this). Rates are regulated, so only difference is actual escrow fees and other title company charges.

Did you guys allow the title agent inside the house at the time of closing? I was planning to get all docs signed outside in the patio with a fan on. Hoping the agent doesn't mind that.

Right, but I remember reading that better.com actually has a time limit between two refinance transactions for the same property?!

Better's Fine Print on the Better Price Guarantee reserves them the right not to beat by $1k a competing estimate for the refinance of a mortgage (on the same property) that they originated within the past 6 months. Doesn't mean they won't compete with the offer, but they don't "guarantee" to beat it by $1k, as much as their "guarantee" actually was one.

I signed all of ours in the back patio. My notary actually liked the fact that we did it outside.

Trying to apply for another refinance on same property. (Refinanced about 3 months ago) but this time will use AMEX link. When I go through it and sign in, it says "you already have a loan application for this address" and when I click continue to application, it brings be back to my original refinance app from 3 months ago, that's already completed.

Anybody come across this issue?

I chose 6 pm closing time for my primary residence. I kept a 6 ft table with three chairs on the lawn (backyard) and did paperwork with the notary.

'No time limit between any transactions" That's what I was told by my loan officer. Call and ask Better directly, they know what people are trying to do.

Register with a different email address than the one you used last time. Alternatively, log into the old account and change it's email address to a different one and now register with the original email address.
