Gamestop is changing how it benefits it's Powerup Rewards members, starting in the spring, members will no longer be able to save 10% on preowned games, but instead, Gamestop will now give members a $5 voucher to spend on any single item (some exclusions may apply) every month, and for a limited time only, if you sign up now you'll get a $5 voucher instantly to spend on any new collectible or game.
So, for a $15 membership ($20 if you opt for the physical magazine subscription), you get $65 in vouchers. For myself, that'll likely mean I'll be getting a bunch of $5 preowned games throughout the year.
I just got the voucher and it says in the fine print excludes pre owned products, gift cards, and select digital items. So it doesn't work on pre-owned games then.
I always bought it for the $15 a year physical magazine and on great occasion a 10 percent discount on a pre-owned game (which they have PLENTY of markup on versus a new game) was a nice bonus. Raising the price to $20 and killing my discount is just another reason why GameStop is begging to go out of business.

Never did for me. What they did though was take my Powerup reward points and each month cash in $5 if I had enough points for it.

Will the $5 voucher works for gaming gift card? For example, $10 PSN - $5 GameStop voucher = $5 to cover the difference
The catch is they will file for Bankruptcy before you get ro that $65 amount
