Rockauto AC Delco Wiper Blade Rebate Offer Active Again

+128 Deal Score

Someone posted this thread and it worked for me back in July. The GM rebate offer is active again for wiper blades purchased between now and 12/31/19. New items added are AC Delco air & cabin filters. This rebate program is not limited to just Rockauto, but the original post had a way to get 6 wiper blades for free basically and it worked for me again yesterday.

Original SD post.

GM rebate website.

discount code for 5% expires 1/5/2020
CODE 12296437997423314

Original opening post from previous SD alert in text format:

rockauto.com has ACDELCO Advantage All-Season Metal Blades on sale for $2.80.

Car Part Catalog: https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/
Go to rockauto.com and select your vehicle. Scroll down to last category, "Wiper & Washer". Click the + sign to expand category and then select "Wiper Blades". Then it's probably easiest to use your browser's Find in Page for ACDELCO
QA Note: Look for the ACDelco Wiper Blades that are $2.80

Combined with this $5 Mail In Rebate on ACDelco GM Wiper Blade between 6/1/2019 and 7/31/2019 - Limit 6
https://www.rockauto.com/Images/C...llable.pdf [rockauto.com]
QA Note: Digital Rebate Form Link: https://www.gmpartsrebates.com/vehicles.asp
(Hit the Get Started button under GM Genuine Parts/AC Delco, then look for "ACDelco Wiper Blades" box, and hit the "Submit" button under that)

and a 5% discount code from SD's RockAuto.com - 5% discount code megathread
https://slickdeals.net/f/10993095-rockauto-com-5-discount-code-megathread?page=2#commentsBox

The 5% discount code is entered in the "How Did You Hear About Us?" field.

If you pay with Discover Card using Paypal you'll earn another 5% cashback.

Included is my order confirmation for $23.95 including FedEx Ground to S. FL at $7.99.

UPDATE. Word of Caution : The online rebate submission page asks for a VIN number. It only accepts 17 character VINS which have been in use since 1981. If your vehicle is 1980 or earlier, use someone else's.

Warning!!!!

Be sure your wiper blades part number is on this list: https://www.gmpartsrebates.com/pdf/2019059p.pdf

If it is NOT, then the rebate will be denied, and the CSR on the AC Delco Rebates hotline says there is nothing that can be done about it even though the rebate form says ANY ACDelco Wiper Blade......

The part number that I ordered was 8-4411 which is not on the .pdf list (unbeknown to me at the time of the order), and when attempting to submit online, the form stated product not found....

The CSR says nothing can be done other than to get a refund from RockAuto.............

I have already received the "shipped" email from RockAuto, so cancellation is not an option.

Grrrrr

These were absolutely terrible blades. They streaked after a month of light use.

Same experience here. That said, I'd jump on this deal again.

Put these on from the last deal. They have been through snow and rain. Still working perfectly, no streaking.

$15 or so out of pocket for Beam blades for the fronts, and cheapos for the rear for two cars. Averages $2.50 a blade. Thanks for posting.

Gonna give these a try. Haven't changed my wipers in a LONG time, so should be better than nothing. Thanks OP.

I use RainX Glass Water Repellent, it is sort of Wax I think? When I use RainX even crappy wiper blades sort of glides more smoothly and cleans more effectively.

Worst website to deal with, had bad experience with these guys, they don't know what they are selling and most of the items are sold with out of stock...

Awful blades. Don't recommend. Spend some money on some quality wipers y'all

Last time I bought these from RA, some blades appeared to have been opened and lightly used and scuffed. I'm guessing it's a lot of returned inventory.
