How are these controllers? I normally stick with official Nintendo controllers, but these are licensed. Hold up well? TIA.

The wireless controllers are made very well from my experience. The wired ones are not made well based on reviews. (I don't own the wired one so I can't personally comment.)

Note that when playing games not really designed for this controller (it's basically made for Smash Bros), the X and Y buttons are/feel swapped when compared to a Nintendo Pro controller.

I've used wired Power A Xbox One controllers for the last few years, and they hold up well enough. I haven't had any issues with sticky buttons or joystick issues in that time, so they meet a baseline standard of functionality for me. O would assume that these are of equivalent quality.

These are great, I have the wired version and gifted a friend the wireless one. The biggest difference you would probably feel in smash bros, is that you have to press most of the way down on the shoulder buttons to trigger something like shield and occasionally pressing the home button a lot, when you intend to press the start button as compared to the gamecube controller. There are plenty of reviews on YouTube for these controllers.

I've used mine for Smash for a year now and have no problems so far. I'm buying a second one now, and I would recommend you pick one up.

Purple version is $28.89 on Amazon as well

I think I got one on Prime Day for $29.99. It's held up well and I really like it for smash but my A button as started to stick.

Can they even run emulators on the switch, even for the old "non-patchable" ones, at this time?
