Yes this is $50 more than it was on Black Friday which was a great deal. This is a good deal if you missed out on that deal as it'd cost about $650 to build right now.

IF you have the 8% eBay ebucks promotion available however, then this deal equals that Black Friday pricing as you would get $52 back in eBucks for use at a later date on eBay

And yet again another good but not great deal on a CyberPowerPC. These seem to pop up every other day it seems.

Solid if you can't build it, want a singular warranty, or do not feel like hunting down deals.

That eBucks offer makes it pretty great though.
The Walmart HP one with the 1660 seems better if available, so check that one as well.

Only problem is you're getting OEM parts instead of off the shelf stuff so upgrading could be a real issue down the line.

At face value though, if you just want a system that you don't plan on upgrading and you want to just buy a completely new system in a a few years it's hard to beat the value for money with that one if your Walmart has it in stock

I've haven't had problems in the past swapping out parts with HPs. Not saying it's not a possibility that there will be problems, but the worst I've ever had to do is transfer to a new case. It's not like they have soldered RAM or anything, right? It's been a bit since I've bought off the shelf.

Agreed. These 8gb memory configurations are frustratingly OK. Anybody know what power supply rating and wattage? Couldn't find any details. Assume it's another OK component.

My concern would be them using a weird MB power connector if you wanted to use a standard power supply.

Lenovo uses 14 pin
Dell uses 8 pin I believe
And HP typically uses a 7 pin connector

Make upgrades a PIA because you need to find compatible adapters that will work with said MB

This is what the Ebay listing says: How do you know it has OEM parts?

New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item is handmade or was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag. See the seller's listing for full details.

From the spec list --

System Memory RAM Expandable To 64 gigabytes
Number Of Memory Slots 4

Sounds like normal DIMM slots and not soldered.

You are misunderstanding. The HP system that was referenced by another user thread uses OEM parts which is where the discussion was headed.

This uses standard off the shelf components you'd find on Amazon or Newegg. Typically mid range quality. Nothing too jank or flashy

Can anyone recommend a good deal on Amazon for a gaming PC in the 800 dollar range? Would like to get at Amazon as I have some credits there but I'm totally overwhelmed. I want a good one that will last a few years. It's for my 14 year old son who plays Fortnite and other games and wants to stream and do YouTube videos.
