We saw these posted all the time on Slickdeals so we decided to review them.

Quick takeaways:
  • For the price, these are very capable headphones
  • The sound quality is good, but we would not consider them wireless M50x's (they actually sell a wireless version of that model)
  • Bass response is a bit lacking, especially if you listen to a lot of electronic music or hip hop
  • The design and build quality punches above its weight class
  • At $59, we would definitely recommend (but be aware they are not noise-canceling)

I purchased these a year and a half or so ago and they were nice enough for me at $129. I liked them, but they were also my first pair of Bluetooth headphones. At $59 I would buy again. My main usage is travel. Only reason they were replaced was that they were stolen. Replaced with Vmoda Crossfade wireless. The crossfades are better for my style of use, but not by much. $59 is a great price for these. Thumbs up from me.

Does anyone know how these compare sound quality wise to the m50x?

But are these good quality for the price? Since the retail is $149, I'm guessing yes?

Decent review, but instead of saying "bass response is lacking" you should explain the actual frequency response difference is (40hZ-10k?). And when you say these are capable headphones what does that actually mean? They reproduce sound?

Really important to start providing more technically accurate reviews instead of just pseudoscience opinion with stuff like this.

This isn't a review of a home fragrance or something similar that truly comes down to strictly opinion. This is something that can easily be compared with actual specs and a little extra homework.

Outside of airplanes, etc. is there any benefit to noise cancelling? Downsides?
I live a quiet life so I don't have to get rid of external sounds much.

Probably not. If there is no sound to cancel, its probably the same to you.

I use them for Airplane ride, buses, and when someone snores next to me.

I have the old Bose QC25 though.
