This post checks all the boomer boxes.

- Inexplicably hijacking conversation to something no one was talking about and has nothing to do with the OP/deal
- Arbitrary rant against 'hipsters' and other young folks
- Reference to nostalgia and how things 'used to be better'
- Sense of self entitlement while tearing into hypothetical millennial 'enemies'

10/10 would boom again.
Man, your projection is incredible. Good luck in life, what's left of it anyway.

My 18 month old loves these things. They're simple enough for him that he's not overwhelmed with buttons and noise and moving parts. His Green Toys car carrier truck is by far his most played with toy.

These toys look fun for young kids but I've seen the other indie and "green" toys that are out there (like old times shapeless cars with wagon wheels) and I'm wondering: are hipster parents paying 10x the cost for some garbage their kids won't play with just so the parents can either a) display the toys at home to their friends or b) feel good about themselves that they're supporting indie toy makers or green manufacturing? Cause clearly, the kid hates those simple toys. Give me a GI Joe helicopter or a Transformer any day over some $60 stamped metal car with thin wheels.

Dammit, it's out of stock. I wonder how much shipping to US would be.

Talking from a developmental perspective, the simpler the toy the more they have to engage their imagination and not just press a button that'll make lights and sounds.
