Really hard to keep the screwdriver engaged while ratcheting with slotted tip.

They do make something like that, and its actually a much better quality product

From my experience with the Husky line of tape measures, Home Depots husky lifetime warranty means if they still sell the same product they'll swap it out for you. Good luck getting them to honor anything on this set when they no longer sell it next year or in ten years when it breaks. I wouldn't factor any kind of lifetime warranty into the purchasing decision.

The 2 torx drivers are an odd choice. I occasionally need torx but a socket driver and set of assorted bits is more useful.

As for ratcheting, I have one of those and leave it mostly locked. If I have a lot of screwing to do (Ahem!) I use my drill.

Space is at a premium in my toolbox so will pass on this. Worth considering though.

Interesting. My assumption was that ratcheting for slotted tips made more sense since I could continue to apply pressure while turning the driver, which would solve my issue of slipping off the screw head with a normal screwdriver.
