    These are floppy rods, but you can't complain. For the price, this might be the best fishing combo sold. Floppy rods tend to be pretty durable, and they are great for lipped crankbaits. These are also great rods for catching small catfish from rod holders. They'll flop over easily to indicate a bite, and a 2lbs. catfish will put a bow in the rod making it seem like a bigger fish.

    yup, fiberglass.... which has its place. the light 5'6 setup is prob good for trout

    I bought the 5'6" and the 6'6" during black Friday for the same price because i wasn't sure about the sizes. I don't know anything about fishing but the 5'6" seems too small.

    This was my first rod I ever bought. Ive caught some really solid bass on these. Plenty over 4 lbs. I've definitely graduated to better gear but this is a great first rod.
