Ridgid 3 Gal. 18-Volt Cordless Handheld Wet Dry Vac with blower $84.97 Home Depot

Price did not change through out black Friday and cyber Monday. Stayed at $85. (I was hoping it would drop more or that direct tools.com would have them cheaper)
The vacuum is nice, has a blower port feature which I just used to clear my sink drain by blowing the water through, then disassembling the plumbing underneath with out having all the water in the trap. Convenient. It also has the ability to limit the suction power with a simple plastic piece you twist to adjust the suction power if you wanted to vacuum the saw dust around your socket sets, but you didn't want to suck up all the sockets.

It also has a lifetime warranty. (Registration is not required to get the lifetime warranty, but you register at https://www.ridgid.com/ , not the same place you register power tools for the LSA, this is the red looking site to register vacuums.) Thanks to slickdeals, I'm completely vested in the Ridgid brand of tools because I got sick of all my Ryobi batteries dying and being stuck with the option to buy another drill and battery for $80 or a battery for $70. But now I make sure to get all my Ridgid batteries as part of a kit so they come with LSA lifetime warranty.

As far as suction please see this video:

Lowest price on Amazon per Los Camels is $95. Good price and great reviews.

That one is like, what, 3-4 years old now? Don't get me wrong, I still want one. But can they at least throw in a battery at the price (or drop the price another $20)?

Thanks for setting off my Ryobi alert. My Ryobi batteries, many of them 8 years old are all still going extremely strong despite frequent use by the way.

An alternative is the Ridgid 18V 9-Gallon cordless wet/dry vac for $119, but occasionally is $99. Better features and more capacity.

Used to be $20 (different color same vacuum). So mad at myself for returning it.

I picked this vac up on a whim and I absolutely love it. Cordless is super convenient and it's much more powerful than any battery powered dustbuster types while still being small enough to easily carry through a house to clean up after a small project.

New model out that takes two batteries. I am waiting for smaller version of that.

I've owned this vacuum for well over 10 years (mine is the original max select version that would work with 18 or 24 volt batteries.) This is by far my favorite tool I own. It's great around the house, jobsite, very portable. I haven't used my full size shop vac to clean my cars since I bought this. Lasts forever with a 9ah battery. Call me crazy but I have a brand new one in the box in case mine ever dies and they stop making them. I've used the new 9 gallon Ridgid cordless and it's a good vacuum but it's much bigger which makes it a lot less convenient to use.

why not just get a regular wet/dry vac and extremely long cord and save yourself $60

Exactly! There's a 20 dollar hose kit froM Home Depot that adds more value to a traditional shop vac than this garbage.

This is a whole lot of money for "convenience". Battery is gonna fail eventually and by then the battery style will be discontinued with a newer style.

You could get a corded one that you could probably pass down to your grandkids.

Ridgid LSA. If you buy a kit that includes batteries, the battery is also covered.
