Good deal. Used to own these. My only complaint is that bass is distorted at high volumes. Otherwise they were awesome. Extremely comfortable.

Arctis 9X. When it works, it's great. But it seems to have really unpredictable issues with holding a charge. And the battery life is average at best. Been thinking about trying the HyperX CloudX Flight.

I was looking at this headset when I was searching for fully wireless. I seriously considered this but was being "cheap" and didn't want to spend this. The Arctis got great reviews, but nothing totally wireless (you would still need a mic cable from the headset to the controller ---> IMO, THE flaw that causes mic echo), so that was out. I got the PDP Afterglow 9+ (?) for $70 at walmart. it's good, but feels cheap and sometimes wasn't happy when having connection issues.

I settled on getting the LucidSound LS35x. It's held up well for over a year, sounds pretty good (I don't think I use Atmos, I can't recall), and feels comfortable. The only complaint is there's no bluetooth, so I can't use with my phone. I can use on my laptop, but that's only because I have the xbox wireless dongle.

Based on what brokt uses, maybe I'll try the Arctix 9x since it has bluetooth to use with other devices. It looks like the 9x was released earlier this year and wasn't part of my research a year+ ago.

But, if this Plantronics headset is up there in quality, $100 is great compared to the Arctis/LS that retail for $50+ more.

Have this headset and for the most part really like it. Charge lasts a long time and is lightweight enough that it doesn't hurt to wear for long periods of time. Only issues is the build quality isn't the best and the USB adapter is kinda flimsy. I would buy it again in an instant though.

Great deal, love this headset. Most comfortable one I've owned. Got it for 125 last BF. Only complaint is the mic monitoring. I have to yell to hear my voice.

This or the wired 400 that's on front page right now?
Does this one BLOW the 400 away?

My last turtle beach wireless was clunky and wireless just feels heavy to me bc of the batteries. Is it as bad with this 800?
Thanks in advance.
