MMS, FaceTime over cellular and all of the most popular iPhone functions now work on the GSMA network if you are using an iPhone 6S (or SE) version or newer and have installed iOS version 13.3
5GB plan includes Verizon. 15GB plan does not include Verizon.
Visual Voicemail works on both iPhones and Android. You may have to contact CS to enable this.
Must activate or renew service within 90 days
If renewing, you will NOT lose unused days. If you switch plans, it will immediately start the new plan (in which case you WILL lose unused days remaining under the old plan)
Red Pocket is a solid, long standing company with decent support
Just in case you didn't know, the 360-Day Red Pocket Prepaid Plan with 2GB LTE or 15GB LTE is also on sale!
If it doesn't work or works with low reception, you should contact them via live chat or by phone immediately. They'll ask you your phone's IMEI and serial # and/or carrier branded phone to confirm that in fact if you're using the right SIM kit, if you aren't, they'll give you the option of a refund or send out the correct SIM kit free.

If you find the network connection isn't great and you have an unlocked phone, would they let you switch to another network that may be better in your area? For example, say I get the AT&T SIM and find that it's not great and want to try Verizon's instead, could I do that? Or would I be stuck with the AT&T for the full year?

Anyone currently reading this switched to Red Pocket from Verizon? This looks very slick but I'm weary the service won't be the same. Currently paying $50+tax/month for a smaller plan with Verizon.
If it's just as reliable as Verizon I'll switch but I've never heard of Red Pocket.

Same, but I'm with Total Wireless (Verizon MVNO). Any noticeable differences? I have this fragmented memory that RP had issues with like group texting or image texting or something, am I making that up?

I've used them a couple of times. The first time was a few years ago, but recently we tried in for my daughter at school as Verizon and AT&T get coverage there but the others don't. We used a Verizon RP SIM and she said on several occasions that the coverage was hit and miss - not on par with the folks that were on Verizon proper. I'm not sure if they're not using all of VZW's towers or what, but I'm wary of jumping back in ATM.

I've heard good things mainly, but I'd buy a standalone month first before jumping in for a year. I'm a huge fan of mvno's but jumping from a mno to an mvno is a notable risk for a full year, if you haven't used one before. You won't have a B&M store, priority data, roaming, or other features. For me, I've been very happy with carriers like this, but know others that can't stand it.

As far as I know it is a problem with group/MMS messaging on iOS devices on AT&T (Apple hasn't implemented the correct APN profile for RP). Works fine on android devices if you can enter a custom APN.
