Would this work with an iPad Air (2019) or is it overkill?

Too lazy to find the $30 one I saw yesterday. Might be only 1 PD and one USB-A. Either way, way better brand, quality, and support.

yes that is a different product then isn't it

I own this and it is very different than this Aukey. Anker USB-c maxes at 45w, where this Aukey can do 60w solo.

Second port: Anker has usb-a, Aukey is USB-c. I need usb-c as in order to fast charge iPhones you need usb c to lightning.

This Aukey fits the bill mostly, like mentioned earlier, the sweet spot would be 60w usbc and 18w usbc simultaneous (78w dual usbc charger)

anker is good, but i also never have issue with aukey. picked this one up along with USB-C to lightning for the ipad Pro 2017 deal I picked up last week. the ipad stock charger took almost 10 hours to charge it the whole way, hopefully this is faster.

It's a bit overkill unless you're charging another power hungry device. This can be used to charge a MacBook pro 13 or other 45-60W laptops. Your iPad Air needs like 22W max (reportedly). You can get away with having a 30W PD charger instead.

Up voted because it's not Anker. 👍
