If you are primarily a photographer the know your settings the 5D4 is still the way to go. Workhorse camera. If you like the idea of shooting video and sacrificing some quicker setting adjustments as a photographer go with the EOS R band wagon. My thoughts as a full-time wedding photographer/filmmaker.

These prices are bonkers. My friend shoots an eos r and from what I've tried out with his the new firmware update REALLY improved the autofocus.
