We bought this TWICE - 1 year apart - including THIS DEAL. I tried it out at Costco and it beat everything less than $1000 at the store XMAS of 2018. It's crucial to get the 4-piece system - don't get a system with only the soundbar + woofer, or only the soundbar - those are MUCH MUCH worse. The subwoofer produces really room-shaking sound, in a 12x14 room, but just "good" sound in a 20x30 room (we have tried both). I have purchased 5 different home theaters in my life and this is the best one I have ever bought, it competes again a Boston Acoustics Digital Theater 6000 ($599), two different Panasonic theaters with DVD players on closeout ($349), and a $180 Yamaha 3-way system with 8" woofer that we bought for our computer.

Downsides (READ CAREFULLY).
1. Ours crashes about once every 1-2 weeks. You must power cycle it to solve the issue. Sound playback just stops.
2. Sync gets out of whack, probably due to CPU clock drift or something, after a while. Just pick up the remote, cycle to AV Sync page, and hit the + and - keys, and problem is solved. Alternately, you can power cycle it. The sync setting is still correct, but it seems that the timing counter in the CPU tends to drift over hours and days which can allow sound to get even 1-3 seconds behind video. When you change the setting it apparently resets the sync timer, fixing the issue.

If you can live with these 2 minor flaws, it works AWESOME and is DIRT CHEAP.
