wow now it feels like the price gap between ssd and hdd is filling up very quickly, 1tb ssd is only $80_ish recently, speed is like 10x more than this.

This is not a good price. You can get a 4 terabyte USB 3.0 external Western digital hard drive on Amazon for $89. Also all external hard drives that support USB 3.0 are compatible with Xbox and PS4

The Walmart link doesn't provide that data and neither does the website for this USB drive. Based on what I saw though I think the only driving point is that this is ruggedized and is not a SSD

WTH? This is not a deal. USB 3.1 Gen 1 = USB 3.0. On Black Friday Best Buy had 5TB for 90$. Rip off
