I already bought the latter 3200 CL14 kit but then heard 3600 CL16 is the sweet spot for Ryzen 3000.
I'm thinking both are Samsung B-Die and essentially the same, and the 3200 CL14 kit should be able to OC to 3600 CL16. But I'm not sure...
Oh, and the motherboard i was going to use is the Gigabyte x570 Aorus Pro Wifi...
What makes you say that? Very similar to Intel i9-9900k in gaming scores and more future proof.

I would go with the 3200 CL14 for now. I just got that gigabyte x570 aorus pro wifi and love it but got that same neo gskill ram at cl16 and it was giving me all sort of issues with my 3800x. I switched over to a 3200 crucial ballistix rgb and had no issues although that is cl16. Very minimal difference in frame rates from cl14 to cl16 in 3200 as long as the timings are tight. I used to go into the dram calc and set everything up. But now just hitting xmp to profile 1 at 3200 is safe and reliable.
I used a vertical mount for my gpu too with that mobo. Its chipset fan is too close to the main pcie slot and with an vertical mount you open the whole motherboard and nvmes for cooling
The 3950x is $750 higher for 4 more cores -- also limited stock.
Pair this up with some DDR4 3600 CL16 and a 5700 XT and you'll have a beast gaming rig!
Me too! But my wallet died of dysentery.
