    6v, don't waste your time. This thing looks heavy so it's really going to have a small window of usability. 6v ride-ons are good for ages 2-3 and hard surfaces. Once your kid gets a little heavier, 6v just doesn't have enough power. Especially on grass, it'll really drag. Not that this is a bad deal per se, but for 100 you might as well shop around and\or pay a little more for a 12v model which they can use all the way up to 10 years old. Also they typically have a governor so you can lock them on the slowest speed. I think Walmart had a 12v for 100 in Black Friday, not that that does you any good but deals are out there.
