SD OGs, instead of bashing me, please guide me as this is my first post. Been a lurker for a while but thought this was awesome enough to contribute. Bought a camera (M50 w/ 45mm kit) for wife's present and noticed a little box to check upon checking out. Clicked on it and noticed that the normally $159 lens adapter could be added for $9. I'm trying to upload shots from my phone but haven't figured out how yet. I think this promo is going on until early Jan 2020.

Edit: Digging around on the B&H site, and noticed that this only applies to some Canon mirrorless cameras. For instance, I could not get it to work with the white colored M50.

Hi and thanks for replying. I have seen some free ones as well on b@h, adorama and the likes but those were all third party. This is for a Canon brand one. Did you see a Canon one too?

I have not actually seen a third party adapter. All the ones I've seen were original Canon mounts. I did not even know third party makes any

I saw this one for free a while back but don't remember on which site. I can't speak to the quality as I've never actually used it but the reviews are stellar.

Search for BUILD BUNDLE, and the price of the adapter is $9.

Great deal! The SD in me says "buy a camera just to get the adapter." The wallet in me says "sit down somewhere dummy."

This is an EF to M adapter for use with M series mirrorless. Most of the free ones I've seen are the EF to RF adapter for use with the EOS R and EOS RP cameras.
Before this post the best I've seen for the EF to M was $49 with purchase of a camera.

I thought lens for m-series and r/rp-series are same since they are both mirrorless. If you are right, I am sorry I thought they were same.

The M series uses the EF-M mount and the R and RP cameras use the RF mount. The EF-M mount is smaller and closer to the sensor than the RF.

If this was available on the printer deal that might have pushed me over the edge. Feel like each deal is just not quite enough this year. Hard to compete with the insane deal I got the 6d mark ii last year though
