I ordered this and it works great in motile m142. so nice to have 32gb even if you only got 1 sodimm slot.

IF you have some of those WS laptop like lenovo P1, with 4 of these you will have the max ram of 128GB!

Might want to double check the max ram there.

Yep, i know what you mean about the fact that the vega igpu steals 2gb ram for its own use. I was just referring to the total amount of ram available for the laptop to use which is 32gb but effectively only 30gb due to the vega igpu

if you use this in intel laptops, you will have more of the ram available, but then again intel uhd620 is like a turtle compared to vega.

So anyone else bought this? Hard to believe i am the only one that bought this?
No one else is up to using more than 32GB ram? hard to believe

You can always use more ram. I don't even bother with enabling virtual memory in windows. Also using a program call softperfect ram disk to convert some of the ram into a virtual ultrafast temporary ssd like drive. All the parameters for this virtual disk is obviously order of magnitude faster than most ssd..

I use that virtual disk to cache all the windows temp files to also decrease wear on the main ssd.

Once you have experience that much ram you will never go back. All my computers (except for a few unupgradable netbooks) have at least 16gb ram and several actually have 32GB.

Will the 2666 MHz RAM work in my Dell Inspiron 7577 that uses 2400 MHz RAM?

Bought a couple of them for my Lenovo p53. Works great. Interestingly Lenovo uses these exact same DIMMs.

Btw the price keeps varying between 105 to 130 with different vendors offering at different prices. I bought mine at 112.

you gonna try to max it out at 128gb? i heard you have to have lenovo enables some sort of bios setting done at factory to allow for 128gb use, but then again i don't think there's much user experience about that since probably not too many people load up 128gb ram in their laptop or even have 4 sodimm slots

should works fine. if you use it with another sodimm running at 2400 then this 32gb sodimm will also slow down and run at 2400mhz.... the effect to daily use for the most parts is probably neglible.

I got the P53 with 64GB and added 2 more of these to max it to 128GB. I did not do any bios modifications. It is a simple plug and play. All you need to do is disable the battery, insert the DIMMs and you are good to go.

There is a thread on lenovo forum about this for p52:

Got it. i7-9750 supports 128GB. Probably that is why no BIOS tweak is necessary.
