got this on black friday.

highly invested in sonos. could not get this to work with arc on my 2018 lg tv.

it does work with optical just fine but no arc

there's a similar, or even better, deal on amazon...price is $319.00 but they give you a $20 amazon gc bringing the net price down to $299.00. if you have a credit card that gives 5% cash back on amazon purchases (chase, discover, etc), this would technically be a better deal

Got this on BF deal, hooked up to LG C9 using ARC. Really happy with this unit, considering adding a sub at some point, but the bass is really quite good as-is.

Maybe it was your hdmi cable? Sonos should work fine on those tvs.

I already have a PLAYBASE and SUB with Play:1's for 5.1 in the living room. I got this Beam for the bedroom. Unless your Beam is for a bedroom, trust me, you need a SUB. They claim that you need a SUB with a PLAYBAR, but you can get away with no SUB with a PLAYBASE since it has one extra driver/integrated woofer. I tried my setup both with and without a SUB. IMO, a SUB is necessary for any home theater setup.

SONOS sucks with OLED. It's all over their forums. I have a playbase and had to do some tweaks to get it to work with optical.

Yeah. No problem with the beam and ARC either. Definitely make sure you have a high speed HDMI cable that supports arc and also make sure HDMI CEC is turned on, on your tv if arc isn't working. Not positive if it's always required or just for certain manufacturers but my tv required it to be turned on for arc to work.
