Definitely better, but nobody appears to be getting the GC. Strange situation.
Yes, you get the gift card if you activate it - some were getting the gift card without activating it in store. You can also buy it without activation.
I think this might be the better deal if you can find an unlock service easier. Or if not, there's a 6 month unlock period versus 12 months with Total Wireless and I believe you only need to activate with the $60 plan. Switch to the 2gb for the last 5 months.
I don't think the ATT unlock request portal does them early anymore, but if it does someone will chime in on that.

So for people that already have total wireless, are you saying that with the Target deal they can walk into the store, pay $99, activate the phone on an existing line of service, and receive a $30 Target GC?
The 6S was the oldest phone to get iOS 13 this year and most likely won't get iOS 14 when it's released next year. At this price I'm not sure it matters much but something to consider.

I don't know about activating on an existing line, but I think the GC offer on the 6s is no longer available. They're still $99 - or $95 plus tax if you have a redcard.
Same with my iPhone X. I usually charge it to 100% before going to sleep. I turn on low battery mode and do not disturb. Before iOS 13, it would go from 100% to around 94-96% for around 7 hours while I slept. Now with iOS 13 and above, it goes from 100% to 82%, 79% being the lowest I saw.

$60 plan minimum according to the page. Isn't the total wireless $99 target phone better? With activation of a plan you get $30 Target gc.
