I was actually thinking about getting one of these when Woot! Had them a while back and I missed out. I'll bite for this price.

I bought three of these from Woot last year and two have already died. It seems the battery in the speaker does but that also prevents it from being used as a plug in speaker. Stupid design.

Very buyer beware, I also bought three of these and all three died within a year. They won't power on, won't hold a charge.

Looks like they removed this product from amazon, but the reviews were 3 out of 5.

I second the cautions from the other comments.

i also purchased this item and after a year of barely using it does not hold a charge for too long if any so it has to stay plugged in most times.

Ugh. I'm buying them just for the speakers so hopefully leaving them plugged in will allow them to work for a couple years. By then hopefully I'll be able to get some Sonos.

I've used mine in my bathroom, leaving it always plugged in for almost 2 years now and it's still working great. I was a little concerned about moisture but it has had no issues.

I bought two on separate occasions from Amazon for about $10 . First one died day one and sent back. ordered a second a month or two later and it's been working great sounds awesome!
