I searched slickdeals for Galaxy Buds and all the deals were expired, but I checked Best Buy just in case and the deal for $70 is back again. Just in case someone like me is interested.

The last reviews are mostly positives, some come with Insignia tips, some do not. Good price nevertheless.

I ordered the refurbs from Best Buy the last $70.00 deal and they came pretty dirty/greasy. Just FYI they may not be pristine.
Long story short, my refurbished pair will be returned after less than a week of trying to meet my expectations.

The ones I received just a couple of days ago were in like-new condition but came with Insignia-brand replacement ear tips. The Insignia-brand ear tips fit came in different sizes and fit the buds (size medium) and my ears very well. Unfortunately, the shape of the ear tips, when attached to the buds, will not let the buds rest in the case as they should for the contacts on the buds and the case to meet to charge the buds. So, to charge the buds I have to first remove the ear tips before dropping the buds into the case for charging. Then, when charging is complete, reattach the buds.

A second catch is there's no place to store the ear tips while the buds are charging. Lastly, the ONLY place to order OEM ear tips and the rubber wings for the buds is J&J International...Samsung's official oem supplier. You have to call them because the part is not searchable on their online catalog..that assumes someone actually answers the phone..which I was not able to experience.
There is volume control. Hold left bud for volume down, and right for up. This can only be set from the Galaxy Wear app. Scalable is the best codec on these, but requires a Samsung device to use.

Haven't tried the refurb ones but if you get nice ones - for the price you will absolutely never find better true wireless earbuds. They have AAC so they have good sound quality with iOS devices. Only downside for me is no volume control on the buds. And of course no fancy features like noise cancel at this price.

Oh yep I forgot about that. I can't get the app cause I'm on iOS. You can customize the controls on Android. Makes it even better.

You can try configuring controls + EQ from a friend or relative's phone, then re-pairing them to your iPhone. Firmware updates need android, too. I think a Windows program exists though.

Nah I've already tried that from an android device, funny thing is that configuration sticks to the device you paired it with. So the volume control works on android but not if you then pair the buds to iOS.

Can anyone confirm if they have fixed the eartip issue? I heard the refurbished were good quality, but the ear tips provided by bestbuy wouldn't allow the case to close correctly.

What's the warranty like? Just the 90 days? That's a pretty short time frame
