I used these for mechanical work (HVAC). They are plenty durable and are tear proof for the most part. The only instances I recall throwing them away are because they got soaked with oil and I would stain everything else I touch. Normally speaking, one pair sells for $5, 3-5 pairs sell for $10-15 and anything that is like a 10-20 pair usually sells for something that is not worth it. Although the 20 pair goes on sale infrequently for $20 or so. This is by far the best price and the best time to purchase them as I suspect these are from Black Friday stock. I've never found any cheaper pricing. I've also never seen these large packs in anything other than large in-store, assuming because the majority of people have large hands and they can mass produce these for pennies on the dollar.

The fit is great, initially the tips are kind of loose because they are shaped to the molds but once you break em in they fit around your hand snugly. The elastic wrist is not too tight and doesn't leave compression marks. The coating gives you grip but is not thick. I've had problems using coated gloves where the gloves literally bake your hands and make them sweat profusely when exposed to the sun. These gloves hold up well for light-medium duty work where dexterity is a priority over protection. I would recommend them to anyone here.
Only if you get it on the fabric part.
These are very handy and durable. At ~$0.60 each, these are a pretty good buy. In for another pack of them.

Does oil, soak through the gloves easily?

I bought these last time and have been happy with them. The palms and most fingers are covered with black protectant and the back of the hand is still fabric material so it allows for elastic like streaching for a nice fit. They are very much worth the price for me! I used them yesterday for working on a fuel system for a snow blower.

Are these a good buy for some tile work while using thinset/mortar?

but waiting for cancel email...

Cancel email? You think $3.72 off is a mistake, and big enough mistake that they'll cancel your order?

I think it probably should be more than $15 normally. The 3 pair package is $10, and the 30 pair package is $80. So I suspect the 20 pair is probably around $50 or $60.

Edit: Someone informed me that a 20 pack was on sale one time for $20...so I'm not really sure what an ideal price would be. 🤷 ♂️

20 pairs was previously on SD for $20 on sale.
