Seems like a good vacuum except people have said if you use the attachments the hose is too short but for $99 it's a solid deal.

Thank you! Just scored this deal. Our current shark vacuum is about 5 yrs old, it's used everyday, still works great!

How does this work going from carpet to floors? Do you have to change the attachment like a Dyson for it to work properly?

Yep same with me. Seems to be half off so I bought one. Try to sell my old on Facebook or Craigslist.

So you can use it in upfront form to go from a rug to hardwood? Or do you have to use the flat floor tool?

I bought a refurbished Shark a year ago and love it...way better than my older Dyson V7...sucks way better than Dyson...use the Shark on carpets upstairs and Dyson on hardwood downstairs

I have the same or similar model. You can turn off the brush when upright to do hardwood/floor. It works fine. I'd do that 3 out of 4 times and the other break out the floor tool. Seems like it'd be a pain but it's easy and fast to cary around the canister with the wand.

How about maintenance? And where to buy disposable parts like dust filters or foam?
