Thanks. Picked one up. Saved me some $, as I was about to spend $180 on a Craftsman V20 Brad Nailer. The Ryobi batteries aren't too expensive, so this is definitely worth it.
Now I just need to find a good deal on a chop saw, then I can start my next project.
..... would've been nice if Ryobi designed an interchangeable cartridge, since the driving/striking mechanism probably isn't that different (?)
THAT would have been real nice.
They actually make two! One airstrike stapler taking construction Staples, and a smaller "compression drive" stapler (presumably a spring stapler) that takes Arrow T50 Staples.
The description says certified pre-owned. I think that may be different from refurbished.
Correct. That's why I'm holding off on this. My understanding is "Factory Blemished" is like overstock items or dented boxes but I think refurbished my be returns. Can anyone else chime in on this?

On home depot site there are reviews going as far back as 2013 for this product. Seems power tools are moving towards 20v for example I have a dewalt drill 18v but now they're making 20v tools so essentially I have a bunch of incompatible batteries. I would pass on this.
But to digress... the product being so old... who knows when this was refurbished or why.

Ryobi is probably the exception to the rule. The Ryobi One+ system has been around for over 20 years. Unlike most companies, even the old tools work with the new battery system.
On another note, I have this nailer and its been great. I used it to build some shutters for my house. Also used it to install baseboards in my closet.

Not saying there's anything wrong with the nailer (I bought it today at home depot online)... just saying I'm not sure how reliable refurbished power tools are.

Thanks, yes, I knew, but I was saying it would've been smart to make 1 "driver" which could accept two cartridges/rails .... 1 for nails, 1 for staples.
I found and posted a Deal on getting the smaller stapler for T50 staples:

Yup, they make one.

However, if you already have Ryobi batteries your deal is a great deal. This is my first Ryobi product.
