Reviews say this is MDF/particle board, not solid wood.

I have this in red from a previous deal for $19 and they're definitely MDF, but very solid. The provided cam locks are plastic garbage and will disintegrate, so I'd recommend picking up some metal ones at a hardware store (added an additional $2). The color is more of a barn red instead of the orange tint on the picture.

For the price, I'd definitely buy it again!

I'd watch the weight capacity on these. A gallon of water weighs roughly 8 pounds, plus the weight of the tank, gravel, ect. So with a 10 gallon I'd look for a capacity of 100 pounds to be safe.

Yeah it's not real wood, might be solid but not "wood".

Solid wood might be a little bit of a stretch
