12-pack of Kerr Half Pint (8oz) Mason Jars w/ Lids & Bands $3.34 Walmart B&M YMMV

Walmart has 12-packs of Kerr half pint (8oz) canning mason jars for $3.34 (some people reporting $4.28) for in-store purchase only. Link provided to the website for details, but you CAN NOT order online for this price.

ETA: thanks MaireK for noticing it shows the lower price on Walmart Grocery and confirming it works to order that way. Order online for in-store pickup with $30 minimum https://grocery.walmart.com/

Since this is in-store only it is YMMV but the vast majority of stores around me are showing this price and lots of stock. DO NOTE that you will need to pay attention to how these ring up - I got some from 2 different stores and at both stores they rang up full price. However, since if you scan the barcode with the Walmart app it does show the $3.34 in-store price, both stores fixed the price with no fuss. If they don't see the lower price right away just gently ask if they are looking at the in-store price. You can check stock/price/aisle with the Walmart app after selecting a store and searching for it under "at your store".

Kerr and Ball are the same company now so they are the exact same jars just different branding. The Ball jars, however, are not on sale.

I've attached one of my receipts, and you can see that the cashier rang it up at full price but then adjusted it. You may also have luck price-matching this elsewhere, since it clearly shows up on the Walmart app as in stock locally.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Interesting. Did you scan them in one of the in store scanners? I hate having to plead my case to a cashier or even worse having to stand in line for hours waiting for customer service.

If you have the Walmart app you can scan it in store, and it will show the discounted price. I just showed the cashier the price in the app and they looked it up on their scanner to confirm. It went smoothly at both stores, didn't require a manager. Since they can look it up themselves and see the same price, there isn't much to argue.

The price is in-store only, $7.58 is the online price. You can't order it online or through the app, you have to go into the store. If it rings up higher just show them in the app where it shows the lower price for your store.

Yes, with a sealer or oxygen pack. Lids can also be reused for vacuum sealing.

I wish these had the one piece plastic lids.
Or even the.one piece metal ones.
I've been using my plastic peanut butter jar lids for these.

You can buy a box of the one-piece plastic lids for storage. Wal Mart usually has them.

I use the 32 oz with lids for my leftovers in the fridgePeace

Anyone use these smaller ones in the Instant Pot?
Yogurt, or cake feature?
People post about using the Instant Pot with "pot in pot" cooking
Thanks

Thanks

Great deal. This is cheaper than buying a box of bands and lids without the jars.

Wish it was wide mouth on sale. I mostly can albacore.

Scanning 4.28 in my store with the app but ringing up full price at the register. The associate would not adjust.

Ringing up 4.28 with an online grocery order so we'll see what I'm ultimately charged.
