Not this time of year. November-February is the best time of year to be in Florida. Any time besides that I would rather be in Portland or anywhere else hah

How do you guys find these random good flights? I use Flights.Google.Com to track what I need but having alerts for any crazy deal leaving my local airport would be clutch.

Serra is a pro at finding deals. I have just an alert here from anything out of PDX or SAN/LAX for family. Finding the exact destination you need is rare like this but with this deal it's insanely cheap. Best I found was $380 for the same leg.

The only time you would want to go to Florida is if you're currently in Portland. 😆
Lol I was going to say the reverse, people from Florida would take a one way to the Fabulous PDX lol

Fabulous my arse, traffic simply sucks in PDX, ruins the experience. As does the weather these days.

This is a great deal that has been going on for about a month. Alaska has direct flights for about $220 if you need to bring a carry-on and want a direct flight.

PDX isnt that bad during these mths, but it could get a snowfall , which shuts down the city period....even if its 1/8" of snow....total pandemonium .....but this is a great price to get to MCO

$200 for regular economy is the better deal if you're bringing more than a jacket.

united recently updated their frequent flyer program, the basic economy $130 fare basically earns you nothing but a near guaranteed middle seat, 82 PQP, and actual lifetime flight miles. the $200 fare earns you a carryon, select your seat, and a pittance of 148 PQP. you need a minimum of 4000 PQP to get basic first tier silver status, or 24 ish of these round trips. so much for mileage runs on united tickets.
