Just a note..and possible ymmv, if you purchased something significant like a tree this year, check and see if it is clearanced now, take in your receipt (my husband always chooses to have his emailed to him; I highly suggest this as well) and have them give you the difference back. We bought our tree 2 weeks before Christmas and it went on clearance 50% just before Christmas (lower than the black friday price that we had just missed too), so we price matched and got half our money back. I can't find online where it says they do that, but my husband reached out to our local store beforehand and they said they would definitely. It gave us a little extra to work with for Christmas gifts which was really helpful.

I think by the time it gets to being that much off, there will only be things left over that no one really wants. I've been late many times to these holiday clearance stuff and the left over things were junk. Then again, it is a matter of opinion.

I think you're thinking of Walmart. They do some 80-90% off if there's anything left. It's usually garbage though like boxes of missing ornaments or cheap weird decorations that no one buys.

Darn, I had about 5 different trees I was ready to buy once the 75% went live. They were in stock yesterday, now they're already OOS. The one I was able to add to the cart sold out while I was picking out string lights Frown
