A very good deal for a contemporary piece. As is the case with all such furniture made of engineered wood, load capacity seems low. Only 45 lbs.

If you do get this, make sure to get the tipover prevention straps

If you live near an IKEA, I believe they have a big bucket of these straps and anchors for free in the front of the store.

A few wrongful death lawsuits will do that.

Sorry but I hate the painted particle-board aesthetic. It's like they couldn't afford to spend an extra $2 to cover it with fake woodgrain wallpaper, which just makes me sad. :-(

I was literally about to scroll down to say that this looks like it came straight from the 70's. Not to mention it can hold an entire 45 lbs. $63 seems like too much considering what you can get for not much more on sale.

A proper tv stand will cost about $150 and up.. those are made of thicker particle board
