Lots of 1 and 2 star reviews on Home Depot, saying the unit died in minutes, and under powered.

If buying from Home Depot with a decent return policy, I would bite, but returns at Direct Tools are horrid.

Think I'll pass.

Yes if your life is worth less than $62.88
Looks exactly like the Wen one I got on Amazon for almost double the price. I've used mine a lot with great results. This seems pretty slick!

Pro tip - it also sands down fingertips down very quickly if you bear down on something and it shoots out from under you. I heard that...um...from a friend.

I want one but I got a crapload of tools the last couple months and I think my wife might kill me if I get another.

Worth it?

On the same boat haha...I guess with a poor returns policy as others have commented, I'll pass on this one. If you need a belt sander like this, harbor freights may be an option? I believe theirs is frequently on sale around this price.

Is this one really better than Harbor Freight? Serious question. They're virtually the same price (after coupon) not accounting for warranties.

I bought from them back in November a few different items. It took a long time to show up but it did show up and I am happy. The price is worth the wait. I did start to wonder if they were legit. FYI one item came branded Refurb on the plastic housing. by branded I mean branded with a branding iron and melted into the housing.
